Dr. Rachel Garton is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer and various other conditions of the hair, skin, and nails. Her formal education and training include:
- Carleton College (Northfield, MN) – BA, Biology
- University of Washington School of Medicine (Seattle, WA) – Doctor of Medicine
- Virginia Mason Hospital (Seattle, WA) – Medical Intern
- Wake Forest University North Carolina Baptist Hospital (Winston-Salem, NC) – Dermatology Resident; Chief Resident
Dr. Garton practiced medical dermatology for 10 years at Group Health in Seattle before starting The Dermatology Clinic in 2013 with her husband. She has a special interest in medical dermatology and is well known for her compassionate and thorough care.
Dr. Garton is a member of Seattle Dermatologic Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
In her spare time, Dr. Garton enjoys activities with her husband and three children.
